I love snack mixes. They are usually ridiculously easy to make, and highly addictive, and great to have out at a party.
I also love mixed nuts. Planters Mixed Nuts – my favorite – I usually eat all the Brazil nuts first and then all the cashews and then it’s a free-for-all for the rest.
I recently received a free Taste of Home magazine soliciting a subscription but it paid off because I ended up ripping like 3 recipes out of it that I want to make. No need for a subscription though!! I have cancelled all of my food magazine subscriptions, because thanks to Pinterest and my minimalism tendencies as of late, there isn’t really a need for monthly food magazines. (Except Cook’s Illustrated. I kept that. That magazine rocks.) Just writing all that though, I am feeling a tiny twinge of sadness that I won’t be getting fun mail every month. Wah.
Anyway, I got off track. These //spicy mixed nuts// ended up being a great way to dress up some plain ol’ nuts. Aside from the nuts themselves, you probably already have all of these ingredients in your house, so they were not only tasty and delicious, but also convenient and cost-effective!
Y’all gotta try deez nuts.
Sorry, I had to.
