In true SFB fashion, I realize I am posting this way late, but it’s mostly because I made this poke cake over my Christmas break and then conveniently decided to try and be very lazy during my time off. Of course, I wasn’t really very lazy at all, I was pretty busy, so I ended up not posting this before the end of the year. Oh well.
But, can I just say that this //cinnamon roll poke cake// was one of my favorite things I made all last year? Holy cow. The frosting was thick, rich, creamy, so delicious. And the cake was amazing too. This made a 13×9 cake, which was enough for us to share with two sets of guests over the Christmas holiday. I will definitely be making this cake again. In fact, I have kind of fallen in love with poke cakes. I kind of love them and intend on making many more. They are so super easy!! This one was no exception.
I highly recommend this cake – you may have most, if not all, of the ingredients in your house already. So whip up something sweet and eat cake for breakfast and dessert for the rest of the week. 😉
