Brownies are probably my most favorite dessert of all time. I love chocolate, and I love a good, soft, gooey brownie. I also like cheesecake, but I can’t eat a lot of it – it’s too rich for me.
That’s why these //brownie cheesecake bars// worked so well, at least in my eyes! I feel like the chocolate balanced out the richness of the cheesecake. You just have to be very careful not to overcook the brownies, or they will be tough to cut! I think I overcooked mine just a little bit, but I used a hot knife to cut the dessert into bars, and that helped. Regardless, these were rich and tasty, and my daughter loved them as well!
The cheesecake part of the recipe would have been fantastic on its own! I’ve never made a cheesecake before, but I know where to turn when I want to!
